- President of The Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI) Godfrey Eneas, on Monday presented a copy of his book, Agriculture in The Bahamas, to Manuel Messina, country representative for the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) in the Bahamas on his departure from the Bahamas after a five-year stint. Mr. Eneas said, “this book is a small token of our appreciation for the immense work you have done while here in The Bahamas, especially with BAMSI.”
Every five years, IICA stations a representative in The Bahamas (and other member states) to encourage and support the country’s efforts to achieve agricultural development.
